Sensory Overload

1. I agree with this statement. A good example of this that came to mind was people calling a "house" a "home". I think this is very exciting and inspiring as an aspiring photographer because photos that portray a feeling rather than just showing something physical is a great concept. However, it is also harder to achieve.

2. When I looked through these photos I wanted to visit and learn about the people and feel what it's like to really be there. I would love to take photos of more stores than just those 12, as the article said there were thousands. So many opportunities and possible subjects!

3. Being the child of an adult who worked at one of these stores would take some serious restraint. I can imagine that living in that playful community that was described would be very fun and a great place for a child to grow up in. It would also be fun to browse and see all the different products made, though it would be hard not to touch everything.

4. As I was flicking through the photos, one stood out to me. It has a lot of light coming from the walls and the worker is smiling wide. It looks very inviting and gives off a very happy vibe. There are all sorts of stuffed animals lining the walls and little stools around the shop owner's desk. This photo is my favorite because it made me stop as soon as I saw it, and smile. To me, it's the most happy and bright.
